FIELD VISIT

The students of M.Sc. Ag. (Entomology) and M.Sc. Ag. (Plant Pathology) visited various field and learnt about agro-forestry model in which different rabi and kharif crops like wheat, oat, mustard, potato, cucurbitaceous vegetables, etc are cultivated with mango and other species. Dr. Ajay Kumar who accompanied the students explained to them the various strategies of tree plantation, application of fertilizers, and bio-pesticides and chemical formulation for various agriculture crops. The faculty explained to the students how diseases are caused in plants by fungi, insects and nutrient deficiency.
